Start Process
The Start Process Widget provides buttons to start a Process. After the Process is started, the Start Process Widget to refresh the Dashboard if Refresh dashboard configuration is set to Yes.
Widget properties
- Widget version - Version of the Widget used in this Dashboard. If a new version of this Widget is available and you want to use it, you have to manually update the version here. When a new Widget is added to the Dashboard, automatically the latest version is placed.
- Processes - Configures which Processes can be started by this Widget.
- Labels - Labels for the Processes configured at Process.
- Hence, the list in Labels and Process must have the same order and length.
- By clicking Add a label of Process can be added and clicking on deletes a label of a Process again.
- On click: Refresh dashboard - Configures if a refresh is triggered (Yes) or not (No) once the Process is started. The refresh is triggered when the Instance reaches one of the following states:
- The Instance finished, i.e., it is not in the
Running
state anymore. - The Instance reached the first Form Activity and is waiting for input from the User
- The Instance is executed as the Process Engine user or the execution is switched from a normal User to the Process Engine user
- The logic behind when a Instance is executes as what User is explained in the description of the scope of the
CurrentUserId
variable.
- The Instance finished, i.e., it is not in the
- Refresh mode - Configures how the refresh is done. This configuration is only valid, if Refresh dashboard is set to Yes.
- Dashboard widgets - All Widgets on the current page are reloaded. Dashboard Parameters are kept.
- Dashboard without existing parameters - All Widgets on the current page are reloaded. Dashboard Parameters are discarded.
- Page - The complete page in the browser is reloaded. Dashboard Parameters are kept.
- Process start parameters from dashboard (Key: process start parameter, value: dashboard parameter) - Maps Dashboard Parameter to the Start Parameters of the Process. If multiple Processes configured at Processes have a Start Parameter with the same name, all of these Processes will belong to the same mapping here. I.e., the mapping here is done on a per Start Parameter fashion and not in a per Processes fashion.
- Add - Adds a new Start Parameter mapping
- Key - Name of the Start Parameter parameter, i.e, target of the mapping.
- Value - Name of the Dashboard Parameters parameter, i.e., source of the mapping
- - Removes the Start Parameter parameter mapping
