Button Filter

The Button Filter Widget sets Dashboard Parameters and open other Dashboards. The Dashboard Parameters can be set for the current Dashboard or for the new Dashboard to be opened.

At least one Dashboard Parameter is required to open a new Dashboard. Hence, even if the Dashboard you wish to open does not require any Dashboard Parameters, you have to specify at least one dummy Dashboard Parameter to open it.

Widget properties

  • Widget version - Version of the Widget used in this Dashboard. If a new version of this Widget is available and you want to use it, you have to manually update the version here. When a new Widget is added to the Dashboard, automatically the latest version is placed. The configuration is identical for all four buttons. Hence, here only one button is describes since the others work identically:
  • Button 1: Label - Caption of the button. If not caption is specified, the button is not shown in the Widget.
  • Button 1: Color - Color of the button specified by its JavaScript name, e.g., Yellow, or by and hex RBG value like #ffff00.
  • Button 1: Icon - Icon shown on the button next to the label
  • Button 1: Dashboard - Configures what Dashboard should be opened. If the Dashboard selected here is the same as the Dashboard the Widget is placed on, only the Dashboard Parameters are update and no new Dashboard is loaded.
  • Button 1: Open as popup - Configures if the target Dashboard is opened in the same Browser tab (No) or in a new popup over the current Browser tab (Yes).
  • Button 1: On click set dashboard parameters (Key: dashboard parameter, value: fixed value) - Dashboard Parameters to pass to this or the newly opened Dashboard:
