Responsibilities

  • Developing and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts for .NET Core applications to ensure optimal functionality and performance.
  • Collaborating with software developers and product managers to understand application requirements and identify potential risks.
  • Performing various types of testing, including functional, integration, regression, performance, and security testing.
  • Identifying, documenting, and tracking software defects and inconsistencies, working closely with the development team to resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Establishing and maintaining best practices for quality assurance processes, including test automation frameworks and continuous integration pipelines.
  • Participating in code reviews and providing feedback on code quality and adherence to coding standards.
  • Staying informed about industry trends and emerging technologies related to .NET Core and software testing to maintain a strong understanding of the market and identify potential improvements.
 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in software testing, with a strong focus on .NET Core applications.
  • Proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, NUnit, or xUnit.
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality software products.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with developers, product managers, and other team members.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and familiarity with continuous integration and deployment tools, such as Jenkins or Azure DevOps, is a plus.
